“We hired Turn-It-Up Deejays & Emcees for our daughter’s Sweet 16 party. They came highly recommended by a friend. I was impressed that Chase, the owner, took the time to come to our home and meet face to face. He talked to our daughter about her favorite music and helped us with the party timeline and venue issues. Their prices were very reasonable with up-lighting/dancer included. We did opt for additional services – a photo-booth and a photographer. This was convenient as we didn’t have to contract with separate vendors. The price break on the photo-booth and the extras included were icing on the cake. On the day of the party, Chase and crew arrived on time, got set up and were ready to go well before the party start time. Once the party started, all I can say is they nailed it. The music was spot on, their lighting created an immersive atmosphere, dancers were energetic, entertaining, and the photo-booth was a huge hit. The photographer took lots of candid shots with different lighting – pics were very good and sent to us just days after the party. Thank-you. Well Done.”

Sweet 16s
If you asked us what type of event we specialize in, I would probably say DJing Sweet 16’s. When we first started this company 12 years ago, Sweet 16’s were the only type of event that we DJ’d. This was for the first few years anyway, but in that time we probably did a few hundred of those events. The reason that we still specialize in Sweet 16’s is because all of our DJ’s are in their 20’s, which means we know exactly what music is hot and relevant. In fact, some of our DJ’s also play in local clubs literally mixing today’s hits.
If you’re thinking about hiring a company that has some “older” DJ’s (no offense Mom). Then consider the fact that there might be a slight “disconnect” when it comes to them playing music. Like I mentioned we’ve been in the industry for 12 years, and in that time I’ve seen plenty of other DJ’s perform. Older DJ’s tend to not be able to grasp the concept of the music they’re playing, so there’s not usually a good momentum in their sets. But don’t worry, we spend a lot of time also training our team in other aspects like professionalism, and event coordinating. So not only will our DJ kill the dance floor, but they can also help you keep your event timeline on track.
